Subjects
At St Michael’s, we provide an ambitious, inclusive and carefully sequenced curriculum that enables every pupil to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to succeed.
Our curriculum is broad and balanced, with clear progression from the Early Years to Year 6. Learning is designed to build on what pupils already know, make meaningful connections and ensure that important knowledge is remembered over time.
We have high expectations for all pupils. Teaching is adapted appropriately so that pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and those who need additional support can access the full curriculum and achieve well. Opportunities for enrichment, personal development, creativity and wider experiences are woven throughout pupils’ learning.
