Early Excellence Host School

As a school we are delighted to be recognised by Early Excellence as a Host School for 2025/26, to host events and share good practice in our area.

Early Excellence are a highly regarded organisation that promote inspirational learning, offering School Improvement & Bespoke Consultancy as well as educational resource solutions focused on early primary EYFS & KS1.

Strengthening Adult Interactions in the EYFS

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Early Excellence to host a full day of professional development at St Michael’s CE Primary School.

This training will support EYFS leaders, teachers and practitioners to strengthen the quality of adult-child interactions, with a particular focus on communication and language, self-regulation, sustained shared thinking and developing children’s thinking through skilful interactions.

Women’s Aid

Our Nursery and Reception classes have had the wonderful opportunity to work with Women’s Aid on their ‘Bright Beginnings’ project. The project has been a resounding success, providing our young learners with valuable experiences and insights. They have learned lots about keeping safe and preventing violence.
