School Streets

We are proud to be working in partnership with Birmingham City Council and Walk Wheel Trust as part of the School Streets initiative, helping to ensure that our children and families feel safe when travelling to and from school.

As part of this initiative, Nantmel Grove is closed to traffic at the start and end of the school day, creating a safer, calmer environment for pupils and their families. This supports children in arriving at school safely and leaving at the end of the day without the risks posed by busy traffic.

This important work reflects our commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of our community beyond the school gates.

We were delighted to welcome Preet Kaur Gill MP, who visited to see this in action and recognise the positive impact it is having for our pupils and families.
