Early Birds
We are excited to introduce Early Birds – Let’s Celebrate Punctuality! This initiative is designed to encourage excellent punctuality and ensure every child starts the day ready to learn.
Here’s how it works:
- Every child who arrives at school on time each day will receive a special sticker.
- At the end of term, pupils who have been on time every day will receive a certificate celebrating their achievement.
- Children must used the entrances that are open in the morning.
Good punctuality helps children settle into their learning and supports the whole class. Please help us by ensuring your child arrives promptly each morning.
The Governors and staff at St. Michael’s Church of England Primary Academy are united in their belief that regular school attendance is the key to enabling children to maximise the educational opportunities available to them. Helping them to become emotionally resilient, confident and competent adults who are able to realise their full potential and make a positive contribution to their community. As a result, the school aims for a 100% attendance with the minimum attendance target figure of 96%.
